The image shows rainfall totals over the US through Sunday evening. The southern US will receive additional rainfall in inches, which is going to continue stalling plantings in some areas due to water logged or saturated fields, or requiring new plantings, but mainly just south of the core Delta growing region. Much needed rainfall will push into the south-central Plains, notably western Kansas where soil moisture have been below normal. There will be potential for hail in strong Plains storms, which will need monitoring for threat.
