There’s expected to be a decent cool blast across the northern US this weekend to bring areas of frost to the northern Plains and Midwest. Lows will generally be near freezing, but likely into the 20s over northern Minnesota and surrounding areas near the Canadian border. This could lead to minor damage for newly planted crops and needs close watching.
